Deftkeys stores your data only on your iPhone, and we don’t hold an account or any app data about you. Here’s how to remove all of it.
Delete your data in the app
- Open the Deftkeys app and go to Settings › Privacy.
- Tap Delete All Data and confirm.
This removes your templates, contact card and clipboard history from your iPhone. [Confirm: Build 1.0 (3) clears templates, the contact card and clipboard history. Check it also clears recent names, recent replies, settings and any rewrite sent to the keyboard, or update this list.]
To clear only your clipboard history, go to Settings › Clipboard › Clear History.
Delete everything
Touch and hold the Deftkeys icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. This deletes the app, the keyboard and everything they stored on your iPhone. Copies may remain in older iPhone backups (iCloud or computer) until those backups are replaced or deleted.
Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. To cancel, go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Apple keeps its own record of your purchases under its privacy policy.
Emails you’ve sent us
If you’ve emailed us, you can ask us to delete those emails by writing to hello@deftkeys.com. We’ll confirm when it’s done, within 30 days.
