One-tap replies
88 ready-made replies in 8 groups: acknowledge, scheduling, follow-ups, thanks, declining politely, out of office, sales and support. Tap one and it’s in your message.
Deftkeys is a full iPhone keyboard with your best replies, templates and shortcuts one tap away, filled in as you type. It works in Messages, Mail and almost any other app where you type.
For iPhone with iOS 17 or later. No account needed. What you type stays on your iPhone.

For anyone who answers clients by text: confirming bookings, sending quotes, following up, chasing paperwork. Write each reply once, then send it in seconds, in your own words.
88 ready-made replies in 8 groups: acknowledge, scheduling, follow-ups, thanks, declining politely, out of office, sales and support. Tap one and it’s in your message.
Add fields like {name}, {date} or {time}. Deftkeys asks for each one in its bar while you type, with quick picks for recent names, days and times. Skip a field and the sentence tidies itself.
Type ;addr and your address appears. Expand on space or tap the suggestion, and undo with a single backspace. Your iOS Text Replacements work too.
Save your name, title, company, phone, email, website and address once. ;sig, ;card and fields like {my_phone} drop them into any message.
Rewrite a message as Formal, Friendly or Concise using Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, then replace or insert it. Fix grammar works on every iPhone, even offline.
The last things you copied, ready to paste: booking references, links, invoice numbers. Kept on this iPhone for 24 hours by default, and copies from password managers are skipped.
And a proper keyboard underneath: glide typing, word suggestions, autocorrect you can undo, an optional number row, and light and dark mode. Replies never get in the way of typing.

Install Deftkeys, then add it in Settings. The app walks you through it.
Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard › Deftkeys
Start with the built-in replies, then add your own templates, shortcuts and contact card in the Deftkeys app. Allow Full Access if you want the keyboard to use them.
Switch to Deftkeys with the globe key. Open Replies, Snippets, Clipboard or Tone from the bar above the keys, tap, and keep typing.
A keyboard sees everything you type, including your clients’ names, numbers and addresses. So Deftkeys does all its work on your iPhone and has no way to send it anywhere.
iOS shows the same strong warning for every keyboard that asks for Full Access. Deftkeys uses it only so the keyboard can read what you save in the app, keep clipboard history on your iPhone and play haptics. Never to send anything.
You can turn it off at any time in Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Deftkeys.
